In recent events, the ever-outspoken Bollywood personality Rakhi Sawant has found herself amid a heated debate with fellow actor Uorfi Javed. The bone of contention? Uorfi’s comments defend the controversial relationship of Bigg Boss OTT 3 contestant Armaan Malik, who is married to two wives.
Rakhi, known for her no-holds-barred approach, expressed her strong disapproval of Uorfi’s stance on polygamy. In a viral video, Rakhi says,
“Uorfi Javed, you’re my sister. What nonsense are you talking about? That they (Armaan and his wives) are three, and the world has nothing to do with it?”
Rakhi went on to hypothetically question Uorfi, saying, “If the same thing happened to you, if you got married and your husband brought in another wife, how much would you have beaten your husband and his other wife and then gone to jail?”
Rakhi’s fiery response came after Uorfi had previously defended Armaan Malik’s relationship, calling the couple “the nicest people” and justifying their marriage by stating that polygamy has existed in society and is even practiced in some religions.
