Ranveer Singh and Kriti Sanon showcase Banaras saree splendour in Varanasi

Stars of Bollywood Ranveer Singh and Kriti Sanon well and truly held the centerstage when they catwalk at a breathtaking fashion show held in Varanasi with the miraculous appeal of Banarasi sarees. The show, which was hosted by already popular designer Manish Malhotra, was organized with the Ganga river in sight.

Varanasi, a famous place among lovers, witnessed the enthusiasm of charismatic Ranveer Singh, who had a real joy to walk the ramp. He confided that it far exceeded his own image of the gorgeous Mumbai gala. The actor termed the Prime Minister’s action of turning to the forgotten weavers of Kashi a boon for the artisans, which was worth praising.

Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon walked through the ramp in a rich ruby Banarasi silk lehenga which was better teamed with golden ornaments like dupatta and eye-catching maang-tikka. Sanchi also emphasised weaving and intricate detailing of Banarasi sarees. She mentioned how different hand-woven pieces make every piece special.

The show was intended to highlight the diverse and distinct nature of Banarasi sarees, celebrating the way they adorn the female form and add on to the cultural identity. The event marched in front of contemporary linen cloth fashion inspired by traditional craftsmanship that generates a great spirit and beauty in the audience.

The attendees were in joy over the presence of Ranveer and Kriti, who made them feel already there. These famous beings help to put the spotlight to the Banarasi weavers in what they do and the culture that they preserve. The personality of the Varanasi fashion show was getting and still getting deeper, by and by looking into the delightful and amazing Indian fabrics.
