Excel Entertainment has denied rumors of Ranveer Singh’s highly anticipated film Don 3 getting delayed. The production house confirms that the film will begin filming in June 2025, contrary to rumors surfacing about delays over issues regarding the commitments of the team.
“The makers and Ranveer Singh are on the same page about the timeline for Don 3, and any news about its postponement is untrue,” confirmed a spokesperson for the production company.
In 2023, it was announced that Ranveer Singh is the new face of Don 3. The film has already undergone a series of speculations for its announcement. It is in its initial production phase as Farhan Akhtar recently said, “By announcing the film early, they are saving their fans from reading unfounded rumors.
Don 3, directed by Farhan Akhtar, promises to be an exhilarating addition to the franchise. The original featured Amitabh Bachchan, while the previous two films had Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role.
Kiara Advani, meanwhile, has been roped in for the female lead in Don 3. In February, Farhan Akhtar welcomed her to the cast via social media by writing: “Welcome to the Don universe, Kiara Advani. #Don3.” Advani shared on social media: “Thrilled to be part of the iconic Don franchise and to be working with this incredible team! Seeking all your love and support as we set out on this exciting journey together.”
