Rashmika Mandanna responds to trolling over Karva Chauth’s scene in Animal

Friday, Bollywood side Rashmika Mandanna, who gained public recognition for her outstanding performance in the movie “Animal,” has finally responded to the heavy criticism she has received since the film’s release. While she is the guest star on Neha Dhupia’s chat show, Rashmika cleared the air about the social ridicule she is facing and clarified the amount of effort it took for her role. The movie, starring Ranbir Kapoor and directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, radiated different opinions from the society, with some indicting it for some good and others tagging it unhealthy for the masses.

Rashmika showed her indifference toward whoever defamed her as she played her role and didn’t bother about those comments. By stressing that women should not be body-shamed and specifying what she wants as feedback, like addressing the critiques on her performances and the movie, she suggested much more than a publicity stunt. The actress, described as accurately portraying Punjabi culture, stated the scene was taken from the epic Indian poem

“Between the Chhati Valley and the holy sanctum of Kali.”

The nine-minute-long karva chauth scene on the set received positive reviews. While she admitted that the online community made fun of a specific line from the scene, she couldn’t understand why some social media users were making fun of her role as the most powerful woman in the DCEU.

However, as Rashmika Rashmi learnt through the event, she questioned whether the audience’s perspective disoriented her. She said that it is her status quo or the point in keeping her feet firm and clear from reality, and she requires public opinion or the public’s perception regarding her work to have clear-cut information. The actress also shared her dedication to two other projects in the pipeline, including Pushpa The Rule, where she will work with Allu Arjun and Kubera with Dhanush. Chhava and Rainbow will follow those projects; she will work with Vicky Kaushal and The Girlfriend.

“Animal: The Movie”, which attracted a large number of cinema-goers, recorded a profit of over Rs 900 crore outside India, as well. Rashmika’s dedicated talent paved the path for her to stand out as a top actress in the Indian film industry, while her next projects and acting skills in other genres on the big screen are enthralling the audience.
