Actress Rashmika Mandanna expressed joy over the response to ‘Sooseki’, the recently launched couple song from the upcoming film ‘Pushpa: The Rule’. Sharing a clip from the dance number featuring her and co-star Allu Arjun, Mandanna revealed she had visualised a track that sparks a nationwide frenzy.
Referring to ‘Sooseki’ as the family, friends, and best friends’ song, she hoped audiences enjoyed it as much as she relished performing to the upbeat number. Composed by DSP with lyrics by Raqueeb Alam, the video offers glimpses of the stars prepping for their roles.
Netflix responded to Mandanna’s post, praising the on-screen pair’s sizzling chemistry with a dialog from the song. In an earlier interview with a publication, Mandanna recalled the comfortable milieu created during ‘Pushpa: The Rise’, which made reprising her role easy.
As Pushpa’s wife in the sequel, she elaborated that bigger conflicts and drama awaited the characters. Director Sukumar is helming the much-anticipated second installment, which promises elevated action and massier moments, as per Mandanna.
