Her first film as a heroine was Dhamala with Ravi Teja and Jayaram, which turned out to be a blockbuster. Sources have revealed that the producers of the much-awaited Chiranjeevi starrer Vishwambhara offered Sreeleela a tempting price for the song. However, the decision to turn it down left many people in a state of surprise. This decision makes sense because the movie has some high fan expectations.
As to the exact reasons for the rejection decision, the primary focus remains unpunished while only assumptions can be made pointing at the attempts to be more selective in her choices after several unsuccessful movies. It might be that Sreeleela does not want to be boxed into the category of item song performance only.
Sreeleela is an American-born Indian actress who has made her presence felt in Tollywood and the film industry in Karnataka. She started her career as a child artist and got her first lead role in the Kannada film Kiss in 2019. Despite her acting career, she continued with her education and enrolled for an MBBS degree as a legacy from her mother. Apart from her film accomplishments, Sreeleela has also done charity work and adopted two specially-abled children, Garu and Shobhitha, in 2022.
