Actor–model Rhea Chakraborty—who has recently been romantically associated with businessman Nikhil Kamath—has made her points clear on marriage and the social forces that it entails. On her part, Rhea observed that most of her female friends, who are now in their middle 40s, have decided to get married and start bearing children; therefore, she has not seen any reason why anyone has to rush and get married.
Rhea said, “There is no correct age to get married, and I keep wondering why one wants to get married. To me, this pressure is a female thing, and I don’t think men go through the same kind of pressure except perhaps the biological clock and the available options, such as freezing eggs. ”
She went on to expound her opinion in the following manner, “Well, most of my girlfriends either got married or had children at forty, and so when comparing between those who married at twenty and thirty or those who married at forty, it seems the latter is winning, ” Rhea continues to preach the importance of career growth insisting that she is not ready for marriage at 32.
She said, ” I don’t want to look for loopholes just so I can be in love. “She also said, ‘I will not do anything.’ That basically means if you are doing well in your life, being someone’s wife will not fill that void. “
Rhea has recently been seen promising for travel with Nikhil Kamath in Mumbai. After the death of her former boyfriend, Sushant Singh Rajput, in 2020, she had many controversies and scandals, and she was arrested on the charge of having consumed drugs, from which she was later bailed in the same year.
