Samantha Ruth Prabhu had sent across a strong message on women’s empowerment on Instagram, which sent ripples. Through an intriguing video, she strongly claimed that girls need not be tagged with shallow titles as they are multifaceted and thus, strong.
As aptly put by Samantha in her post, “No woman is just pretty or just ambitious or just sacrificial. She is a symphony of many contradictions-soft yet strong, restless yet at peace, bold yet vulnerable. She is complexity. She is poetry. She is strength wrapped in grace—a story still being written.”
Apart from her protests, Samantha is in news over the recent comments by ex-husband Naga Chaitanya regarding their divorce. Chaitanya said, “We both have moved on with our respective lives, holding a mutual respect towards each other.” He reflected on his background from a broken family, and therefore this decision for separation needed to be well thought of.
Speaking on the “Raw Talks With VK” podcast, Chaitanya said, “We wanted to go our own ways. For our own reasons, we have taken this decision and we respect each other. We are moving on in our lives, in our own way… I’ve moved on with so much grace. She has moved on with so much grace. We are leading our own lives. I have found love again. I am so happy, and we have so much respect for each other.”
Speaking about the dissolution of their marriage, he went on to add, “It was for the betterment of whoever was involved in the marriage… Whatever the decision was, it was a very conscious decision after much thought and with a lot of respect for the other person.”
Samantha and Naga Chaitanya married in 2017 but announced their separation in 2021. As of now, Naga Chaitanya is dating actress Sobhita Dhulipala and Samantha is rumored to be dating Raj from the Raj and DK duo.
