Samantha Ruth Prabhu responds to controversial divorce allegations

Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu has reacted to an explosive allegation by Telangana Minister Konda Surekha. The latter accuses BRS president KT Rama Rao of causing a divorce between Samantha and Naga Chaitanya. Surekha stated that KTR’s interference caused disturbances within the Akkineni family, leading to the divorce.

Konda Surekha claimed that KTR asked for Samantha in return, not to demolish Nagarjuna Akkineni’s N-Convention Centre. Surekha said that when she refused, her divorce from Naga Chaitanya happened. “KTR asked them to send Samantha in return for not demolishing the N-Convention Centre. Nagarjuna insisted, but she said no. That led to the divorce,” Surekha said.

Samantha took to her Instagram and made a powerful statement, telling the world how much guts it takes to face the blows in this industry. She then directly told Surekha to be more responsible and respect people’s privacy. Samantha also made it a point to tell people to stop speculating on her divorce, saying it was an amicable one and by mutual consent and that there was no political conspiracy involved in this.

Naga Chaitanya fully denied Surekha’s allegations, describing them as false and ridiculous. He highlighted how such statements hurt and disapproved of the tendency to sensationalize celebrities’ private lives just to keep them in the headlines. Veteran actor Nagarjuna Akkineni, Naga Chaitanya’s father, also voiced his objection to this and termed Surekha’s remarks inappropriate. He called on her to allow his family some privacy.

Naga Chaitanya has now moved to a new chapter in his life as he is engaged to actress Sobhita Dhulipala. Nagarjuna publicized this by welcoming her into their family, saying that tradition has to be followed when it comes to wedding plans.
