Samantha Ruth Prabhu shines at Jigra pre-release event

Fashion has become “fun” again for Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who recently announced the arrival of this new phase in her style journey. So, when her designer friend Kresha Bajaj decided to collaborate with her, the result was unbridled elegance.

She looked elegant and classy as she attended the pre-release event for Alia Bhatt’s upcoming film, Jigra, in Hyderabad on Tuesday. Other celebrities who attended the event included Rana Daggubati, Trivikram Srinivas, and Vedang Raina, among others.

On Wednesday, Samantha took her fans a notch higher by panning in close on the chic outfit she had worn for the festive outing on Tuesday. Samantha looked stunning in an ensemble in muted mauve, comprising an off-shoulder, full-sleeved crop top paired with a high-waisted side-slit skirt with fringe details and a gathered knot at the front.

This outfit accentuated her collarbone and toned midriff, and in the above picture, she said, “Fashion is fun again because I get to play dress up with my best friend,” while sharing a series of pictures.

Fans went berserk, and the comments section was filled with the audience giving their praise: “I think they found the phrase too hot to handle after they saw you.” Another added, “She is fighting with age!! Looking like young and cute.” Another fan added, “Slaying in fit, inspiring your fans out there.” Celebrities Rhea Chakraborty, Nazriya Nazim Fahadh, and Uorfi Javed showed their reactions to her stunning looks.

Earlier, Samantha shared a post with the Telugu trailer of Jigra featuring herself and a group picture with Alia, Vedang Raina, Vasan Bala, and Rana Daggubati. In the caption, she praised Alia, saying, “There is only one @aliaabhatt, the greatest actress of this generation. If there is a film of hers in theatres, I will not miss it, neither should you.”

The same was evident during the pre-release event when Alia Bhatt reached the venue and lavished all her praise on Samantha, saying, “My darling Samantha, you are a hero on and off-screen. I have so much respect for your talent, resilience, and strength. It is not easy to be a woman in a man’s world, but you have surpassed gender. You stand tall on your two feet and exemplify everyone with your talent and strong kicks.”

On the work front, while Alia’s actioner Jigra gears up for release on October 11, Samantha prepares for Citadel: Honey Bunny’s November release.
