Sara Khan focuses on production and returns to TV with challenging roles

Sara Khan talks about her career move and balancing her personal-professional life.

Actor Sara Khan, best known for her role in the TV show ‘Bidaai’, has joined the cast of ‘Chhathi Maiyya Ki Bitiya’ in multiple roles.

In a recent interview, the 35-year-old spoke about focusing on production and not taking up mainstream leads in the past few years.

She revealed being busy with various projects like songs, a movie called ‘Asylum,’ and brief roles in other shows, rather than completely away from television.

When asked what drew her to the mythological show, Sara said playing the challenging sextuplet role of goddess Kritikayein was a huge opportunity.

Addressing concerns about going out of sight, she remarked having seen both fame and name, she never chased the spotlight and chose to remain low profile by choice.

On balancing their personal and professional life after a break from the forefront, Sara mentioned avoiding toxicity, spending time with trusted few, and minding her business.

The actor considers television her home and cannot envision taking a long break, having gained recognition through hits like ‘Bidaai’ and ‘Bigg Boss’.

She appears securely placed in finding fulfilling roles even after years away from lead parts on the small screen.
