The series has been setting social media abuzz since it premiered on Netflix on Friday. Recently released, discussing Bollywood Wives season 2 into designer Seema Sajdeh’s life post her divorce with Salman Khan’s brother Sohail Khan, we take a candid look at the latest season of the show and Sajdeh talking about her personal life post the divorce – where she was engaged to businessman Vikram Ahuja before marrying Khan.
In one poignant instance, Seema opens up her new chapter to her elder son, Nirvaan. She expresses her feelings regarding moving on and confirms her relationship with Ahuja. With hindsight on her journey, Seema refers to this as a “circle of life” and finds solace in the fact that she has found love once again. Nirvana says he is “absolutely fine” with her choice. His topmost concern is that she is happy. “I want her to be happy. She should join this new phase of her life.”
This season also focuses on Sajdeh’s transition as she leaves Bandra and moves to Worli, where Ahuja helps her when she needs it the most. Prior episodes successfully relented to the suspicion of the other cast members, Panday, Maheep Kapoor, and Neelam Kothari; they believe that Seema is concealing something related to her life about dating.
She keeps holding out and tells them she has nothing against revealing her status when she is ready. Their conversations also reveal her past with revelations about why she left the mandap at 22 to marry Khan.
She married Sohail Khan in 1998 and separated him in 2022. Something new this season for the show, too: three socialites have been added from Delhi-Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, Shalini Passi, and Kalyani Saha Chawla- bring in the much-needed oomph to the mix. More of these women’s lives intermingling personal experiences with Bollywood’s glitz and glamour continue to unfurl.
