It is reported that Selena Gomez decided to take a pause from Taylor Swift and their close communication because she is uncomfortable with some of this star’s other friendships. The sources close to Gomez mentioned to the Daily Express US that she is gradually drifting from Swift’s company, which also has star-like Blake Lively, Lana Del Rey, Ice Spice, and Brittany Mahomes. The last public appearance of the two was in January.
In Swift’s current Eras Tour, she was always vided with her other celebrity friends, and Gomez was nowhere to be seen. Sources claim that Gomez has been feeling like ‘one of them’ anymore, the ‘outcasts,’ saying, “She does not want to go out with Blake, Ice Spice, or Brittany. ” Gomez left these feelings concluded when, in February, she responded to an Instagram photo of Swift, Del Rey, and Ice Spice with this –tears emoji. She also did not attend the Swift’s party that was held in Rhode Island in August, hence elongating the extent of the split.
Adding more drama to this, Gomez and Lively humorously have a lot of friction between them, and they rarely even arrive at the same function that Swift hosts. Earlier this week, tabloids suggested that the two celebrities have grown apart because they both started dating: Swift with Kansas City Chief’s footballer Travis Kelce, and Gomez with fellow musician Benny Blanco.
As much as this may be so, insiders are keen to relay the information that this is not going to be the end of their camaraderie. According to one source, “they’d continue from where they stopped the last time they met,” thus implying that if they are in the same room, then future meetings, such as at awards shows or in the same city, mean reunion.
