Shah Rukh Khan death threat: The caller, traced to Chhattisgarh, was demanding a ransom of Rs 50 lakh. A case has been registered at Bandra Police Station on Thursday.
Mumbai police received a threatening call to kill Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and demanded Rs 50 lakh from the actor. The call was received from a mobile number registered by one Faizan Khan from Raipur, Chhattisgarh. A case was filed at Bandra Police Station on Thursday.
Police have questioned a man, identified as Faizan Khan, in connection with the death threat. However, during questioning, sources said that Khan claimed he was an advocate and that his phone had been stolen on November 2. He claimed that he had filed a complaint and that somebody misused it to threaten Shah Rukh Khan.
Interestingly, Faizan Khan had also claimed that he had filed a complaint against the actor at Bandra police station for causing enmity between two religious groups and that he was being framed for it.
He has alleged that in the film ‘Anjaam’, it was shown that Khan had killed a deer and asked his staff to cook and eat it. Another video released on YouTube by one Faizan levels the same accusation against the actor for having links with terror elements.
