Shloka Mehta stuns in iconic peach lehenga at Ambani sangeet

Shloka Mehta pays homage to a Bollywood classic.

For Anant Ambani‘s pre-wedding sangeet ceremony, celebrant Shloka Mehta attracted attention with her statement outfit choices. One ensemble in particular seemed to evoke nostalgia for a beloved Bollywood scene.

Mehta worked closely with her sister Diya Mehta Jatia to curate looks inspired by Indian cinema. For the sangeet, they drew from Kareena Kapoor’s iconic “Bole Chudiyan” number from the 2001 hit film Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.

Jatia shared images of Mehta’s bespoke peach lehenga set on social media. The piece featured intricate Resham embroidery, sequin work, and tassel accents carefully replicating the original silhouette. Mehta completed the homage outfit with statement jewelry and glamorous makeup.

The look paid a creative tribute to a film moment many fans hold dear, exemplifying the sisters’ ability to craft an ensemble with nostalgic appeal.

Mehta’s sartorial choices throughout the celebrations highlighted her affinity for crafting impactful styles drawing from traditional and contemporary influences.
