Shriya Pilgaonkar is basking in the success of Taaza Khabar 2, which stars Bhuvan Bam, veteran actor Jaaved Jaaferi, Prathamesh Parab, Deven Bhojani, and Shilpa Shukla. Recently, she said that people recognize her for her strong character, which is a big achievement for any actor.
I think I’ve been fortunate enough to portray strong and vulnerable characters,” said Pilgaonkar, adding, “Early in my career, the love that I received for my roles helped me find my identity as an actress. It’s a great compliment when people remember you by the characters you play.”.
She said she chooses roles that allow her to bring out layers of her character and enjoys exploring different genres. In Taaza Khabar, it was an added attraction to be able to do dark comedy, a genre she enjoys.
