Stree 2 box office: Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao’s film hits 432 crore

The Stree 2 competition came with Akshay Kumar’s Khel Khel Mein and John Abraham’s Vedaa at the box office.

Amar Kaushik’s Stree 2 released in theaters on 15th August 2024 and turned out to be the highest grossing opener of 2024.

The story line depicts that the film had double-digit collections every day in the first two weeks. Though the collection has dipped slightly in the third week, it is all set to become the first movie to enter the Rs 500 crore club in India. As we can see by day 15, Stree 2 has earned a sum of Rs 8.25 crore, reported Sacnilk.

With this, the film’s total of the collections is Rs 432/.80 crore. In Stree-2, on average, the number reached 16 in general. 5% Hindi occupancy on Thursday, August 29, the report put it. Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana play significant roles in this film.

Also, there was the participation of special guests like Tamannaah Bhatia, Akshay Kumar, and Varun Dhawan.

It was only on Thursday that Taran Adarsh, the Bollywood trade analyst, gave an update on the collection of Stree 2 on X, which used to be Twitter. He wrote, “Stree2 continues to exhibit a rock-steady trend, with a minimal decline on its [second] Wednesday compared to Tuesday. 

This solid hold on weekdays—especially after a string of holidays—suggests that the film is poised for an impressive Weekend 3. [Week 2] Fri 19. 30 cr, Sat 33. 80 cr, Sun 40. 75 cr, Mon 20. 20 cr, Tue 12. 25 cr, Wed 10. 40 cr. Total: ₹ 444. 50 cr. #Indiabiz. #Boxoffice.”

A while ago, speaking to News18, Rajkummar Rao briefly on the success of Stree 2 at the box office. The actor further said that we were pretty confident that the movie would be loved a lot because the first part of Stree was loved a lot. I myself am among the great fans of stree.
