Taapsee Pannu and Vikrant Massey reunite for ‘Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillbura’

It’s been three years since the two starred in the hit romantic murder mystery ‘Haseen Dillruba,’ and they are now returning with the sequel- ‘Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillbura.’ The movie is scheduled to be released on Netflix on August 9, and people simply cannot wait to see Taapsee back as the unstable Rani, a small-town girl who plotted her escape from the mundane life of marriage.

In today’s first-person interview, Taapsee shares her definition of love with the readers and audience. Where she is against the notion of love as ‘madness,’ but it should rather be calm and quiet, and for, being in the uncertain industry that she is in, she would love to go home to a calm, composed relationship.

The actress also touches on the issue of her character in the first film, Rani being perceived as an ‘alpha’ or ‘toxic protagonist’ ‘I do not see Rani in that light at all, this girl makes her choice, she causes harm to those around her and is ready to face the consequences.

Taapsee also agrees with the notion that the politics of a filmmaker can be depicted through the script, and it is up to any actor whether he or she wants to be a part of it or not.

With the trailer of ‘Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillbura’ coming soon, Taapsee’s fans do not want the actress to leave the character of Rani and feel eager to watch her handling the relationship issues on the celluloid.
