Taapsee Pannu is not somebody who sets trends; she makes them. Her fashion is always mesmerizing on the movie screen or on the red carpet. More recently, she recalibrated Bollywood sizing with an arresting black-and-white gown that also references classic Hollywood glamour–wow! The monochrome dress by Gauri & Nainika had a halter neckline and a revealing plunging décolletage, giving it just the right drama quotient.
An off-white ruffled hemline was asymmetrical, and black glossy high heels emphasized the clothing’s slender appearance. The makeup was glamorous, with highlighting, matte foundation, and red and burgundy lipstick that set the tone of the color palette.
Popular for her love of black attire, Pannu again looked stunning at the premiere of Khel Khel Mein in her stunning dress. The halter-neck dress, worn in combination with an attached bralette and a deep neckline, demonstrated her Sicilian tinge. Additional bling included a bracelet, rings, tassel shoes from Jimmy Choo, and a red Gucci Jackie 1961 tiny shoulder bag.
Earlier this year, at the screening of Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba, Pannu left everyone stunned. How did it happen? She wore a black gown that gave perfect exposure to her toned figure, which came with a sweetheart neckline and red sheer fabric draped over her left shoulder. A twee rose accent at her waist was the final hat-tip to this spectacular, totally over-the-top look.
