Actress Tamannaah Bhatia is basking in the success of her latest movie, Stree 2. The talented artist, who is active in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu movies, recently graciously did an interview with Raj Shamani on the podcast. She also pointed out the difference in the approach to storytelling in South Indian movies, explaining that they are closer to the ‘terrae Brown’ since these two are more ‘grounded’.
When Tamannaah was asked about the differences between Bollywood and South Indian movies, she said that one major difference is the geographical relevance of South films: They are universal because of realistic plots.
In her words, several Bollywood movies are popular in nature, and some of them lose touch with reality while they are being made. She said it was culturally sensitive and had garnered a good reception from audiences at Laapataa Ladies.
In the professional field, Tamannaah’s last release was Vedaa, which came along with Stree 2 John Abraham and Sharvari Wagh. Odela 2 (Telugu) and Daring Partners are the future cinema productions being lined up.
