Tamannaah Bhatia Sues two companies for unauthorized use of ads after contract expiry: report

Madras High Court bans jewelry ads featuring Tamannaah Bhatia.

The Madras High Court bench, led by Justice Senthilkumar Ramamurthy, has imposed an interim stay on advertisements by two jewelry brands featuring actress Tamannaah Bhatia. As per reports, this order comes in a contempt case filed by the actress.

Tamannaah had endorsed the brands but objected to them continuing to use her ads after her contract ended. While the companies’ lawyers claimed they stopped using the advertisements, they allegedly still featured on social media platforms.

When an appeal was recently heard, none of the opposite counsel appeared in court. The judges then postponed the case to September 12th.

Meanwhile, producer Preeti Simoes is set to collaborate again with Tamannaah on an upcoming project. It will be led by Tamannaah in a prominent role. Their previous collaboration, Aakhri Sach, saw success.

Currently, Tamannaah has several projects lined up. This includes the web series Daring Partners produced by Dharmatic Entertainment. She will also be seen in the films Odela 2 and Bole Chudiyan co-starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

With her busy schedule and ongoing legal battles, Tamannaah Bhatia continues to maintain an active presence in the industry.
