Tamannaah Bhatia’s “Aaj Ki Raat” goes viral in Stree 2

Stree 2 is one of the most iconic films of the recent period cinemas, and it was released on August 15. One of the most highlighted scenes of the film is that special appearance and sizzling dancing number “Aaj Ki Raat,” well performed by Tamannaah Bhatia.

The early version with promotional lyrics gained over 500 million views, while a full version uploaded on October 24 went viral on YouTube. The vocals include Madhubanti Bagchi and Divya Kumar coming together. Sachin-Jigar composed the music, and Amitabh Bhattacharya wrote the lyrics.

Last week, Tamannaah posted a video from the ‘Aaj Ki Raat’ photoshoot and thanked the fans for their love. The unexpected trajectory you didn’t anticipate with your content creator friend. Half a billion views later, I still feel the connection like the first day. It’s rather difficult to express how grateful I am to all of you for making this so wonderful,” she said.

Further, she added, “From the first play till the 500 million, your love and energy linked to ‘Aaj ki raat’ is my everything”. Thank you for making this song a part of your memories and joy. This has been incredible and such a fairy tale experience! “Too many more nights which we gonna vibe together!”

Tamannaah, who earlier sizzled the screen in “Kaavaalaa” opposite the legendary Rajinikanth in Jailer in 2023, agreed that feeling the pressure of achieving another hit after Stree 2 was a challenge. After Kaavaalaa followed successfully, doing the song for Stree 2 was not a small risk.

I began to think maybe there might be another way I could accomplish what I had already done. However, when Amar (Kaushik) came up to me one day and said that the song was one of the movie’s key elements, a signal wasenda learned, I had to accept it.
