Taylor Swift’s heartwarming gesture at the 2025 Grammy awards

Although Taylor Swift did not receive a Grammy this year, she certainly stole the show with her kindness. A new video that has been released showcases the singer’s generosity as she generously tips service workers while exiting the 2025 Grammy Awards.

Swift, who was dressed in a beautiful silver mini dress, was exiting the Crypto.com Arena when she saw a group of service workers preparing to clean up. Instead of making a dash, she halted, turned, and handed out folded bills to a few of the workers, thanking them with a gracious, “Thank you so much for all your hard work.”

One of the moved workers responded, “We appreciate you so much,” showing the impact of Swift’s generous act. Although she had a total of six nominations, including Album of the Year for The Tortured Poets Department and Song and Record of the Year for Fortnight, Swift did not take home any awards that night. Her actions, nonetheless, spoke volumes about her status as one of the night’s biggest stars, showing that her influence extends beyond music to meaningful connections with people.

Swift also presented at the ceremony, announcing the award for Best Country Album, which Beyoncé won for Cowboy Carter. Swift paid tribute to past iconic winners in the category, including Johnny Cash and Shania Twain, by adding a touch of nostalgia to the presentation. Beyoncé’s surprised look upon winning helped to further make the moment unforgettable.

Swift is also very generous. It was reported last December by Rolling Stone that she spent a staggering $197 million providing bonuses to her crew members on the Eras Tour, ranging from truck drivers and caterers to dancers, band members, and technicians. This also included backstage personnel, such as riggers, choreographers, stylists, and pyrotechnicians.

On top of that, Swift is notorious for her philanthropic tendencies, always making donations to local charities in cities she visits when on tour. With the recent Los Angeles fires, she made donations to the likes of MusiCares, Direct Relief, the LA Regional Food Bank, and Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles, cementing her position on giving back to society.
