It is reported that Tom Holland and Zendaya are engaged; a new phase has opened up for the stars of the “Spider-Man” franchise. According to TMZ, the lovers exchanged rings in a very personal, romantic deal without including their families to make it a moment just between the two.
The news of the engagement came weeks after Zendaya was seen with a big diamond ring adorning her finger at the 82nd Golden Globes. When approached for comment by a Los Angeles Times reporter, she smiled coyly and shrugged mysteriously, which only served to heighten speculation among fans.
Holland and Zendaya, who began dating in 2021, have been frequently spotted on dates at various events. Though keeping their public appearances to a minimum, there have been times when they have opened up about the romance. In an interview with Elle in 2023, she talked about public scrutiny versus private personality: “Parts of my life, I accept, are going to be public. It’s about protecting the peace and letting things be your own.”
Fans can expect more projects featuring this pairing in the near future as the two, in addition to having worked on “Spider-Man: No Way Home,” are next headed for the next Marvel movie and one film with Christopher Nolan, entitled “The Odyssey.” Due in theaters in 2026, that star-studded cast features Hathaway and Matt Damon, Lupita Nyong’o and Pattinson, and Charlize Theron.
