Triptii Dimri reflects on fame, freedom, and upcoming film success

Triptii Dimri opens up on adjusting to fame post ‘Animal’ success.

Actor Triptii Dimri, who shot to fame with her impactful role in ‘Animal’, has opened up on dealing with the loss of freedom due to new-found popularity.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Dimri fondly recalled carefree days enjoying simple pleasures like buying vegetables or hanging out with friends without attention.

She humorously stated these activities now require caution. However, the actor emphasized cherishing the recognition even as she misses her earlier anonymous lifestyle.

Dimri acknowledges adjusting to the constant interactions is mentally and physically draining, making retreats to the mountains essential for rejuvenation.

Having wrapped four films last year, she said downtime is important to recharge and hone her craft given a packed work schedule.

The actor is currently preparing for the upcoming comedy ‘Vicky Aur Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’ alongside Rajkummar Rao, scheduled for October release.

The film follows the story of a newlywed couple dealing with the theft of their wedding night recording. It also stars an ensemble cast.

Dimri candidly shed light on the difficulties of fame while balancing her career responsibilities with a need for personal space.
