Urvashi Rautela trolled for hospital admission over minor cut

Urvashi Rautela had her fans scratching their heads on Wednesday morning when she posted a video on her Instagram page, informing the world that she had been admitted in a hospital in Mumbai.

In the video, the actress pretended to be taken to a hospital after she sliced her finger slightly. In the clip, she is seen sitting on a sofa, with something on her face that seems to be a mask as she reads. Not only this in the caption of the post, she wrote, PRAY FOR ME.

But the situation was not favorable when it came to what the citizens of cyberspace had to say about the snippet.

After the sharing of the video, several netizens threatened to sexually harass the actress. One of the users even humorously jotted in, surgery needed,”  and another user referred to her as “overacting ki dukan.”

“First Indian woman to admit in hospital after a small cut on finger,” the third comment said. “Areee kaafi khoon beh gaya, donor to nahi chahiye?” wrote another. The comments included, ‘Get well soon.” ‘Happy to know that you are out of danger, praying for your slower recovery.’

She also had a narrow escape last month when she was hospitalized in Hyderabad after she got injured while shooting an action sequence in an upcoming Telugu movie NBK 109 featuring Nandamuri Balakrishna.

For the record, Urvashi Rautela’s hospitalization occurs a year after the unfortunate incident that occurred to cricketer Rishabh Pant.

Then the actress posted a black and white picture of Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital and Medical Research Institute, where Pant was put on ventilator support.

The coda, or postscript, of the incident also involved Urvashi’s mother, who also amplified the incident on her social media by posting a picture of the hospital and ‘writing’, ‘Everything is all right, don’t worry, beta @urvashirautela.

But they were heavily criticized by many who accused the two of stalking Pant. ‘This is mental harassment.’  ‘If a man did this, he’d either be in jail or have a Netflix crime documentary in his name’, one of the Twitter users had tweeted.
