Kalees will direct the movie, which will be released on December 25, 2024. Varun Dhawan and Keerthy Suresh will also appear in it.
Wamiqa Gabbi is super excited about her next film, Baby John, with Varun Dhawan. The actress will also be sharing screen space with Keerthy Suresh. Already, the trailer and songs of the movie have been captivating audiences, garnering widespread admiration. As it heads for release on December 25, Wamiqa Gabbi recalls shooting action scenes for the film and admits that she was feeling nervous.
The actress says, “Baby John was my first experience working on an action film of such a large scale. Both the production and I were nervous. They allotted some 8-9 hours for the first action sequence shoot, considering I’ve never done it before.
But to everyone’s surprise, we shot the scene within 2-2.5 hours! That’s when I realized I have a little Wonder Woman thing going on. It’s been a great experience working with Kalees Sir and Atlee Sir. They do manage to bring out the best out of you.
Baby John is the Hindi version of Atlee’s Tamil film Their, released in 2016. Along with Varun and Gabbi, Baby John includes a powerful cast of actors, including Keerthy Suresh, who makes her Bollywood debut opposite Varun. The movie has Zara Zyanna and Jackie Shroff in the villainous role. Co-written by Atlee, Kalees, and Sumit Arora, it is produced by Jio Studios, Cine1 Studios, and A for Apple Productions.
