Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna promote Chhaava with style

Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna are going all out to promote their forthcoming film, Chhaava, that releases on Valentine’s Day, February 14. Recently, Rashmika took to her Instagram page and posted a series of pictures with director Laxman Utekar and co-star Vicky. However, it was the pun-filled caption that did all the talking.

In the candid shots, Rashmika looked stunning in bright yellow ethnic attire. Her caption humorously mentioned the busy schedule of Laxman Utekar: “Laxman sir is so busy with all the editing and serious film work, so Vicky and I thought we’d kidnap him for a mini photoshoot… and after that, we ended up doing our lil shoot to tell you guys that—’Chhaava is coming out in 3 days and we are so so excitedddd!'”

Comments came from fans showing excitement, like this one who complimented the talented trio with, “This talented trio is taking the world by storm.” Another fan said they were excitedly waiting for the movie’s release, feeling sure that the performances of both actors would do well.

To the relief of her numerous fans, Rashmika appeared during a promotional event at Chitra Cinema despite recovering from a foot injury that had largely kept her out of recent promotional events. In footage of the promotion, Vicky could be seen requesting the crowd to receive her in true “Dadar” and “Mumbai” style.

At another promotional event, Vicky Kaushal was in full force, speaking with conviction about the necessity of Chhaava, whose story must be told to the audience. Addressing an enthusiastic crowd, he said, “Mere liye mera saubhagya hai ki mujhe Chhatrapati Maharaj ka role nibhaane ka mauka mila.”

It is my great fortune to portray Chhatrapati Maharaj. Vicky thanked Laxman Utekar and Dinesh Vijay Sir for the opportunity to play this important role, hoping that children everywhere learn something about Maharashtra’s great kings through this.

Chhaava chronicles Sambhaji’s rise to the throne following his father’s death, as he confronts the formidable forces of the Mughal Empire. The film promises to be a captivating journey into a pivotal chapter of Indian history.
