The Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video trailer was unveiled on Thursday, featuring a notable surprise: actress Mallika Sherawat. The above tabloid refers to an actress born in India who has acted in several foreign films. Having been featured in movies such as Murder and Pyaar Ke Side Effects, among others, Sherawat’s participation in this movie featuring Rao and Dimri was undisclosed; hence, her presence in the movie was quite an added bonus.
In the trailer, Sherawat is shown as closely related to the character Vicky, portrayed by Rajkummar Rao. However, Director Raaj Shaandilyaa seems to pay homage to her work at Welcome, as the featured lady is now a family member everyone fancies. The trailer also shows Vijay Raaz, who is very much attracted to her [Puku], similar to that of Majnu and Uday’s character from Welcome.
Sherawat starred in her last film, RK/RKay, which was released in 2022 after a five-year gap. Apart from Bollywood movies, she has been cast in movies produced in other international productions, such as Hisss, Time Raiders, and Dirty Politics.
The story of Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video is based on the horny couple named Vicky and Vidya, who are newlyweds and want to make a sexy video in the 90s. They enjoy listening to their favorite music; hence, there is always mayhem when their CD is misplaced. The film’s plot focuses on the events that occur during the search for the stolen footage, and the show promises to present this story humorously.
Other cast members are Archana Puran Singh, Archana Patel, Rakesh Bedi, Mukesh Tiwari, Tiku Talsania, Mubeen Saudagar, and Jaswant Singh. Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video is the directorial venture of T-Series, Balaji Telefilms, and Wakaoo Films, along with Kathavachak Films, which will be released on 11th October, 2024.
