Weekend highlights: New releases and celebrations in Bollywood

Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Varun Dhawan will make waves this weekend with Citadel: Honey Bunny, which is out on Amazon Prime Video. The second spin-off from Priyanka Chopra Jonas’ Citadel was released last year in 2023. As excitement builds around the release, early reviews describe it as a fun and thrilling experience.

Other interesting news includes: Lighten up, here, we have the celebrations of Bollywood actress Ananya Panday with her family to present many moments on her website. Alanna Panday, the cousin’s sister, released a vlog containing fun about the Diwali festival celebration in their family.

An exciting incident was spotted with Ananya; the best time to realize this was when she figured on a packet of fuljhadi or sparklers and went like anything into the sky, as, according to Ananya, a dream thing occurred.

Anushka Sharma wished husband Virat Kohli on his 36th birthday through an Instagram post. She shared a candid picture of Virat with son Akaay and daughter Vamika. This is the first time Anushka has posted a picture of her son, who was born earlier this year.

Actor Suriya will appear on the talk show Unstoppable With NBK with host Nandamuri Balakrishna in the next episode to promote his new film, Kanguva. A trailer released on Tuesday showed him tearing up while discussing his non-profit organization, Agaram Foundation.

The leading actress of the show Anupamaa, Rupali Ganguly, has been controversial owing to the claims made by her step-daughter, Esha Verma. Esha is Ashwin K Verma’s daughter from his first marriage. She has filed a complaint against Rupali, stating that Rupali had created distance between her and her father.

Ashwin has, however, publicly supported Rupali. Rupali, on the other hand, has not yet reacted to the allegations. In this context, Ashwin posted an Instagram Story about “first love.”
