Popular Kannada actors Yash and Radhika Pandit, who enjoy a huge fan following across India, celebrated the auspicious occasion of Varamahalakshmi Puja at their residence in Bengaluru on Friday.
Varamahalakshmi Puja is a prominent festival in south India dedicated to Goddess Lakshmi. It is observed on the Friday before the full moon in the Hindu month of Shravana and involves prayers for the wealth, prosperity, and well-being of the family.
Yash and Radhika gave fans a sneak peek into their Varamahalakshmi celebrations by sharing pictures on social media. The living area of their home was decorated with floral arrangements and an idol of Goddess Lakshmi.
One of the photos shows the celebrity couple gazing lovingly at each other. Radhika looks resplendent in a traditional south Indian pattu saree, while Yash complementary her in a shirt and dhoti.
The photos also feature their children Ayra and Yatharv participating in the puja. Radhika captioned the post wishing everyone a happy Varamahalakshmi and spoke of blessings, joy, and prosperity.
It was an intimate family affair for Yash and Radhika, who married in 2016 after being in a relationship for many years. Their social media posts gave fans a rare glimpse of the celebrated duo’s personal lives and cultural traditions.
Yash, whose pan-India blockbuster KGF transformed him into a nationwide star, will next be seen in director Geethu Mohandas’ upcoming movie Toxic: A Fairytale for Grownups. He is also producing the big-budget film Ramayana.
