YouTuber Elvish Yadav case unveiled: The use of snake venom at rave parties and its effects on the body

YouTube star Elvish Yadav confesses to using snake venom at parties

Popular YouTube creator Elvish Yadav has reportedly admitted to using snake venom for intoxication following his arrest in connection with an incident last year. Yadav was detained by Noida Police last month over supplying venom of cobra and krait snakes at alleged rave parties in the city.

As per reports, five people caught last year in the case told interrogators that they used to provide reptile venom to parties hosted by Yadav. It is learned that Yadav has now confessed to consuming snake venom during parties. His alleged involvement came to light after NGO ‘People For Animals’ filed a complaint based on a sting operation conducted last November.

Along with five suppliers, including snake charmers, Yadav was arrested under wildlife laws for furnishing venom for recreational purposes. The police had recovered snakes, and a video showed Yadav handling the reptiles.

Initially denying the role, Yadav attributed procuring snakes to a Bollywood singer and production house. However, his recent confession validates earlier accounts of him organizing the venom-laced events.

Popular as ‘Rao Sahab’ among viewers, Yadav hails from Haryana and has pursued commerce education. The 26-year-old YouTube star has earned a sizable fan following for his comic sketches online.

The case has highlighted dangerous practices some adopt for thrills, endangering public health. Legal action is being taken against all accused.
