2024 Maruti Swift offers huge discounts as hatchback, sedan sales fall

A new generation Suzuki Swift has been recently introduced by Maruti Suzuki. The customers have taken the car well, and it has done moderate sales volumes. Now, however, the company has put forward magnificent discounts on the models, which are making them more and more accessible.

Currently, the brand has provided the automatic trims for Rs 33,100 less than the original price and the manual variant for Rs 28,100 less.

Customers who are interested can collect the same by visiting the nearest authorized dealership anywhere in the country.

Earlier also, Maruti Suzuki had listed the model at a cheaper price in its bid to attract cost-conscious consumers. In the last month, they have sold the tech-loaded Swift with a cut of Rs 15,000. This has been introduced with a view of capturing new customers in the segment.

Besides, the company has also migrated all the models of the previous generation under satisfactory benefits.

It managed to secure as much as a Rs. 28,100 discount on petrol variants, but the CNG version was only given a Rs. 18,100 reduction. However, for now, it is not clear yet that this offer will be offered in the same manner for how long.

On the other hand, it has been indicated that hatchbacks and sedan car sales have reduced in the market of India. This came at the backdrop when other top manufacturers began shifting more attention to the SUV segment, all courtesy of growing demand.

According to the data given by Cartoq, published on August 12, 2024, hatchback sales decreased to nearly 15 percent in comparison to the sales during the July of the previous year. In the case of the sedan, the segment has been parted with an unexpected dip in sales of 22 percent.

The number clearly shows that SH is dominated by SUVs, and the charm of sedans and hatchbacks is somehow diminishing in the country.
