Maruti Suzuki India has introduced the highly anticipated 2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift in the Indian market. With a starting price of Rs 6.49 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base LXi MT model, the Swift offers a range of options to cater to diverse customer preferences. The car is also available for subscription, providing an alternative ownership model.
Powering the 2024 Swift is an all-new Z-Series 1.2-litre 3-cylinder petrol engine, delivering a maximum power of 82PS and peak torque of 113Nm. It comes with a 5-speed manual transmission (MT) or a 5-speed automated manual transmission (AMT) for a smooth and efficient driving experience.
One of the four-generation Swift’s standout features is its improved fuel efficiency. The MT version offers a mileage of 24.8kmpl and an impressive 25.75kmpl for the AMT version, making it an economical choice for daily commutes and long drives.
The 2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift has eleven variants, each offering unique features. The exterior boasts a refreshed design with a glossy front grille, LED projector headlamps, boomerang LED DRLs, and LED taillamps. It has a Smartplay Pro+ 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control, and a wireless charger.
Safety is prioritized, and standard features include six airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), ABS with EBD, and hill-hold assist. The fourth-generation Maruti Suzuki Swift, manufactured at the Suzuki Motor Gujarat plant, represents a significant investment of Rs 1,450 crore.
