Actress Rhea Chakraborty was recently caught on video with Nikhil Kamath, the Indian youngest millionaire associated with Zerodha. A video of Chakraborty astride Kamath’s bike shot by a photojournalist brings in a flood of both positive and negative responses on social media.
India’s highest-ever ranked investor and founder of a Rs 26,000 crore plus net worth stock broking firm, Zerodha, was pictured wearing a safety helmet to be safe.
However, people did not appreciate the fact that Rhea, though the co-passenger in the bike, has not even worn a helmet, and thereby has sparked condemnations for ignorance in road safety among the users of social media.
Chakraborty, who went incognito, wore a face mask but decided not to wear a helmet and was criticized for her choice of cropped rust top, denim jacket, and purple pants.
Media houses have been speculating Chakraborty and Kamath as a couple since the former was spotted with the latter at a party in October 2023. At the event, Rhea was seen in Kamath’s car, sitting in the backseat, and this made many wonder the kind of relationship they had.
The actress who featured in the television serial, Jalebi, has recently struck into the world of business. Besides her brothers Showik Chakraborty, Jinita Sheth, and Harpreet Singh, Rhea has her own clothing brand named ‘Chapter 2’. She has also begun hosting podcasts; the first episode guest-starred the actress Sushmita Sen.
