As part of its latest drive to strengthen its position as the go-to food delivery platform, Zomato has now announced a suite of new support services which they will use to assist restaurant owners with the endemic challenges they face.
Rakesh Ranjan, the chief executive of the food delivery vertical at Zomato, underscored the company’s goals when he said that Zomato wants to be a total solution provider to restaurants.
‘The restaurant services hub platform is only a step towards our vision of coming up with a full-stack restaurant solution for any restaurant owner willing to establish a restaurant or take the existing one to another level,’ he said.
As a result, Ranjan was insistent that despite carving out its place within the industry and successfully addressing its consumers’ needs, Zomato solely aimed to create a stronger and more diverse environment for its participants in the country.
A few of the services that Zomato is expected to launch are a POS system, systems integration, and hygiene check services to increase the efficiency of operations of the restaurants affiliated with them.
On this front, Swiggy’s competitor, Zomato, has only recently introduced a new section on its restaurant partners’ app for staffing agencies to enable restaurants to hire qualified people for different positions.
These additional services make it possible for Zomato to offer full solutions to the restaurant owners, who, in turn, concentrate on providing clients with good meals without worrying about other operational factors.
