The last Test series between the sides in 2019 saw India win 2-0. On a personal note, the skipper wishes to contribute with the bat and deliver for the team through preparations.

Both matches also carry WTC points with India leading the table and Bangladesh placed fourth currently. The second Test will be played at the Green Park Stadium in Kanpur from September 27.
