BCCI Naman Awards Highlights: This year, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is hosting its annual awards – the Naman Awards – to recognize the performances of Indian cricketers at domestic and international levels. Top names from Indian cricket were present to witness the function in Mumbai.
Batting legend Sachin Tendulkar, India’s pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah, spin legend Ravichandran Ashwin, and star batter Smriti Mandhana are going to be among the best of the cricketing fraternity being feted in the ceremony.
Col. CK Nayudu’s lifetime achievement award was bestowed upon the batting legend Sachin Tendulkar. A special award has been given to Ravichandran Ashwin who retired from international cricket in December.
The Polly Umrigar Award for the best international cricketer (Men) goes to Jasprit Bumrah.
