Uthappa, Chopra differ on Rohit-Hardik chat post MI’s loss

Riding on fifties from Rohit Sharma and Dewald Brevis, Mumbai Indians recovered from an early stutter to pose a strong challenge. However, a brilliant death over bowling from Rashid Khan and co helped Gujrat Titans clinch a thrilling win.
Cameras then caught Hardik hugging Rohit from behind after the match. The two then engaged in an animated chat with Rohit doing most of the talking and Hardik Pandeya listening.
Former India batsman Robin Uthappa felt it was a positive sight for MI fans. But Aakash Chopra believes Rohit must have discussed where the five-time champions lost momentum in the closing stages.
MI skipper Rohit acknowledged the team lost track in the final over despite being well-placed. Hardik too spoke about enjoying his return to the Ahmedabad stadium where he led GT to the title.
While opinions differed on dissecting the Rohit-Hardik discussion, it indicated both senior pros constructively reassessing the game to help MI bounce back strongly.
