England’s head coach McCullum acknowledges the team’s struggles in the test series against India

England Head Coach Brendon McCullum said

he was truly upset that his team suffered the same result when they played against India in the test series. McCullum outlined the flaws of the tourists, such as their run in confidence and growing spiritlessness, as the series wrapped up. It seems that England felt immense pressure from the Indian team of Rohit Sharma, who was an allrounder both bowling and batting and should be the crucial matter in the game.

In an open interview with the media, McCullum confessed that the Indian side thrust over England’s shortcomings throughout the five-Test series that eventually ended this series. The head coach pointed out that self-examination was necessary, and the team should focus on ways to overcome the areas that prevented them from coming out to triumph in the latter phase of the series.

However, luck can sometimes hide imperfections. McCullum defined the priority as improving those particular aspects. The term ahead was to prove a particularly significant period during which the team needed to iron out the loopholes and display a stronger form in the ensuing summer matches.

England’s disappointment has been further intensified by the fact that they couldn’t utilize the early 1-0 score difference, with the latter only being narrowly won by a single goal margin. Allocating the main matches to the cities of Rajkot and Ranchi, the face of Indian Cricket was spinning around, but in the end, the pride of our country was restored in both cases.

The third Test of the series was the turning point, giving India a clear and massive lead over England. Finally, they won the Test series with a score of 4-1. The home team went on to win round 3, beating their opponents, the English, by an innings and 64 runs.
