Suresh Raina is quite optimistic about Team India’s prospects in the much-anticipated cricket match with Pakistan, which is scheduled for the upcoming T20 World Cup, which is planned to be held in 2024. The two football rivals are expected to face each other in a league match that will be staged on June 9 at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York.
These teams have been placed in Group A, where India goes head-to-head against Pakistan.
When discussing the upcoming most critical match, Raina expressed confidence in the leadership of Rohit Sharma, who is the captain of the Indian team and is also a good planner of the strategies on the field.
Raina is very confident the Men in Blue will give their best in the mega clash match in a bid to clinch victory.
He is also among the two all-round bowlers on the team and wants Hardik Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja to perform well in the finals.
“Our team is looking great. So, our team is going to play against Pakistan in New York. Rohit has done a really great job as a captain in this tournament.
He has been fantastic in communication as well as in strategy-making, and he is getting a lot of respect in the dressing room. We have many choices. We have two all-rounders.” Raina shared his comments during a program.
Raina joined to talk about the atmosphere and the size of an India-Pakistan match while recounting the memory of the T20 World Cup 2007 final.
