Cricket Australia announces schedule for India’s 2024-25 Border-Gavaskar series.
Cricket Australia on Tuesday unveiled the complete schedule for India’s tour of Australia for a five-match Test series in 2024-25 summer. Per the schedule, the first Test will be played under lights in Perth from November 22nd, ending speculations.
The second Test from December 6th will be a day-night affair hosted at the Adelaide Oval. India will then play the third Test at The Gabba in Brisbane from December 14th.
Melbourne and Sydney will host the fourth and fifth Tests around the Boxing Day and New Year holidays respectively.
India won the last Border-Gavaskar series held in the country in 2014-15 and has been dominant since then.
However, Australia defeated India in the recent ICC events finals – 2021 WTC and 2023 World Cup to extend their wait for an ICC title.
The 2024-25 series schedule announcement has kicked off the buildup for the high-stakes series between the two cricketing powerhouses.
