India pays tribute to former cricketer David Johnson at T20 World Cup

In a sentimental act, the Indian T20 cricket team, the captain of which is Rohit Sharma, tied black bands on their arms during the match against Afghanistan in the light of the ongoing ICC T20 World Cup 2024 to mourn the sad demise of ex-Indian cricketer David Johnson.

Johnson, who had represented India in two Test matches, died after he was found lying motionless on the road after falling from the balcony of his fourth-floor apartment in Bengaluru.
