The Bangladesh cricket team will tour India later this week to play two Tests and three T20Is. The Test series will kick off in Chennai on September 19 followed by the second match in Kanpur on September 27.

The three T20Is will be held in Gwalior, Delhi, and Hyderabad on October 6, 9, and 12 respectively. Ahead of the Bangladesh matches, Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya shared pictures of practicing on Instagram on Tuesday.

Pandya was instrumental in India’s T20 World Cup 2024 triumph in West Indies, picking up three wickets in the final.

His last international game was a T20I against Sri Lanka on July 30. Pandya missed the ODI series against Sri Lanka in August.

He has featured in five T20Is against Bangladesh, scoring 101 runs and claiming six wickets. In the last such match in 2024, Pandya’s all-round show helped India win.

With regular game time under the belt, Pandya will look to deliver pivotal performances in the upcoming bilateral rubber.
