This is set to be a big boost for fans of this exciting game worldwide after the BCCI and CSA divulged that they will be featuring in four T20 international matches scheduled for November 2023.
This run-and-guns series will commence on Saturday, 8th November, at the Hollywoodbets Kingsmead Stadium, Durban, followed by more matches in Gqeberha on the 10th of November, Centurion on the 13th of December, and the final match of the series in Johannesburg on the 15th of November.
CSA Chairperson Lawson Naidoo was joyful while wishing for the tour, and he said that Whenever Team India tours our region, it is always full of great team spirit and stiff competition. I believe fans will look forward to this series, which will bring out the best between the two teams.
BCCI Secretary Jay Shah also had similar views to by stating more on saying,
“India and South Africa relations are always strong there is pride and honor that both nations have for one another The Indian Cricket Team has been showered love on love by the fans back in South Africa and similarly the same case is for the Side of South Africans here in India”.
The short tour has been well planned and fits in rightly in-between the India Test series against New Zealand at home and the tour of Australia with one of the most keenly awaited series on cards- the Border- Gavaskar series. Lively cricket fans have so much to look forward to in terms of players both delivering and exerting each performance in T20 as their two countries of the game face off.
