Indian Cricket team’s T20 World Cup preparations underway

The T20 World Cup, the most anticipated event of the game, is fast approaching, and the Indian cricket team is busy finalizing the travel arrangements for the destination, the U.S.A. Most of the players and the huge support team will be outflown to New York on May 25th, and only a few latecomers will wait for the final IPL matches on May 26th.

The principal idea was that the teams that didn’t qualify for the IPL Rising were supposed to leave New York two days after the last league game, which was going to be on May 19. However, the initial schedule adjustment has been made, with the very first batch slated to depart on May 25.

An insider from BCCI shares that the group containing the Indian Captain Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya, Suryakumar Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, Rishrav Pant, Arshdeep Singh, and Axar Patnah with their support staff is likely to go for the first departure slot on May 25th. Thus, the adjustment, as India is scheduled for only one experiment game on June 1st versus Bangladesh, is that the players would have a chance to go home for some days before the event.

India’s T20 World Cup will commence with Ireland being the first opponent on June 5 in New York. Astonishingly, Pakistan will be another opponent on June 9. Heading the Indian squad, Rohit Sharma and Hardika Pandya, other teams will likely have a hard time guiding their way in the championship.
