Kohli eager for Dhoni reunion in IPL 2024 clash

As the time approaches the IPL 2024 match between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK), well-liked player and mentor Virat Kohli is very excited to have a field fellowship with his long-term teammate MS Dhoni.

The media is well-versed in the two’s strong work relationship and on-field accomplishments. Kohli often talks about Dhoni helping out with his leadership and teaching. The next step for Kohli, now 35, was the last time he got to play next to Dhoni, at least 42, who hinted at retirement.

“On any ground in India, it’s a big thing to see him (Dhoni) play like spectators do since we and he playing together might be his final match, which nobody knows. In that case, it’s a big thing”, Kohli said in an interview.

He mentioned that Kohli, currently the Orange Cap holder with 661 runs made from 13 games, also mentioned that things may become tough for Dhoni when he takes an unusual approach to closing a game against critics.

“I think he might be the only one whose expertise we can rely on!” Look at him. He is the one to end it. For me, this is what I have been calling the muscle memory. He is very confident that he will conclude the match and remain the winner.

With the cricketing fraternity having a countdown on the run-up to this epic meeting, the IPL 2024 RCB vs. CSK match takes the stage in style, doing due justice to one of the world’s best-ever cricketers.
