Kohli liked by ‘Chokli’ taunt from fan during training session

Virat Kohli, the outstanding Indian cricketer, was recently seen in a loathsome temper when a spectator called him ‘Chokli’ at any moment when the latter was practicing on the ground with his team members through mimic rotation. A name derived from Singer Kohli’s surname and the word choking implies that he rises to the occasion in all knockout games for India.

Coming out as a fierce captain on the ground, Kohli turned his head towards the spectators and showed a clear sign of discomfort when he heard the constancy of the chant. The former India captain was not pleased with the barb and did not waste time in coming back with, “Not here. ”

The ‘Chokli’ nickname began after India’s elimination in the 2019 World Cup and Kohli scoring a duck. This was the third time the star batter had been dismissed for 1 in an ICC knockout tournament.

Kohli, who was added to the ODI team to play in the series against Sri Lanka, will be keen to prove a point to his detractors. This fellow of 34 years of age made the country proud, given the feat that he has achieved playing against the Sri Lankan team. He has scored 2,595 runs in 25 ODIs, averaging 63. 26, including 10 centuries.

The 2025 Champions Trophy is not far away, and there is no way that Kohli will want to finish in the cold and not in the playing eleven. The upcoming series provides a great chance for experienced batsmen to make a good impact.
