Kohli’s slump overshadows India’s unbeaten T20 World Cup run

Even though the Indian cricket team remains unbeaten in the T20 World Cup, the star batter Virat Kohli’s performances have been under the media radar.

Speaking his mind on the matter, ex-cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar pointedly complained about the Indian nation’s focus on Kohli’s failure to deliver rather than acknowledging the successful endeavors of the team.

Kohli, the highest run-getter in T20 World Cup Cricket, has not exhibited his brilliant performance with the bat in this tournament. The attacking Indian cricketer, who has been groomed for the top-order role, has scored 1, 4, 0, and a high of 24 in the group phase. That slow knock has elicited some concern, but India has been the lucky team due to their mean bowling attack spearheaded by Bumrah.

Responding to criticism regarding Kohli’s current form, Manjrekar urged everyone to pay more attention to Indian cricket: Well, the argument is more about Indian cricket rather than whether Virat is in form or not, but the four players that Batishing correct: trafficking, abduction, physical violence against women and children, demanding goods linked to these crimes, and supporting or inciting others to commit them are as follows:

While Kohli’s 19, 20, and 13 have become a topic of discussion for a prolonged lean patch, Bumrah stands as the outstanding player for India.

The pace spearhead has been consistently performing as a frontline attacking option and has been a match-winner on many occasions, such as 3/7 against Afghanistan in the Super 8. Manjrekar compared Bumrah’s current form with Sunil Narine’s GETTING IT BIG at the Eden Gardens during an IPL match.

“Jasprit Bumrah playing in USA & West Indies just like Sunil Narine at Eden Gardens during IPL look very very good & when u compare him with all other international bowlers, there is a big difference and how lucky for India to have him in your playing 11,” Manjrekar tweeted.

The murmurs to move beyond Kohli’s struggles and look at the team’s total potential has grown louder as India continues to play in the T20 World Cup, especially after Bumrah’s efforts.
