Shakib is now in Rawalpindi; he is just in the first Test of two Test series against Pakistan. But the lawyers of Rafiqul Islam have called for Shakib’s withdrawal from the ongoing series instantly.

As per the information, the lawyers, through the legal notice, have demanded to the Bangladesh Cricket Board to suspend Shakib from any type of cricket. BCB president Faruque Ahmed said that an update on Shakib will only be given after the first test is over.

About Shakib, let me say this: A case is filed. We have not received any legal notice yet. There was an FIR in this case. They will investigate it, and then the case will go this way or that.” Faruque said this while talking to reporters.
